jplayer software package provides jQuery plugin that plays and controls audio files in a webpage, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jplayer
jplayer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jplayer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jplayer *
You will get with jplayer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
